Made from supple bamboo, it allows you to mix matcha smoothly and create a fine, delicate foam. It is suitable for everything from daily tea preparation to formal tea ceremonies.

As bamboo is a natural material, there may be slight cracks or imperfections. We appreciate your understanding.
To help prevent the tips from breaking, please soak the chasen in warm water before each use to soften and condition it. After use, rinse it with water only—do not use a dishwasher or detergent. Allow it to dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight before storing.

Because each chasen is crafted from natural bamboo, there are individual variations in features such as spots, grain patterns, colour, and the condition of the nodes. These are characteristics unique to natural materials and are common to both domestically and internationally sourced bamboo.

These natural variations give each piece its own distinct character and do not affect the quality or performance of the product, so you can use it with confidence. Please note that returns or exchanges cannot be accepted on the basis of these natural characteristics, as they are not considered defects.
