Paper Folding Fan (Scented)

A classic folding fan that offers an excellent balance of quality and affordability.

This fan features artwork by a designer printed on Kyoto-made fan paper (washi, traditional Japanese paper) and is constructed with a bamboo frame.

The washi fan surface is durable, and thanks to the awase-bari (“double-layer mounting”) technique—where paper is applied from both the front and back—the inner ribs remain hidden, creating a beautiful appearance from every angle.

The paper effectively catches the air, producing a strong breeze when waved. As a result, the fan is not only attractive but also highly practical, providing a refreshing cooling effect.
