Murata is an authentic Japanese Tableware store offering a variety of traditional Japanese lifestyle items for gifts & everyday use for over 30 years in Vancouver, Canada.

We have Japanese ceramics, yukata and kimono, bento boxes, chopsticks and chopstick rest, sake cups, tenugui, incense, yuzen-washi, and more.

Most of the items are made in Japan and imported directly from Japan.

By the way, we are a cozy little shop located at 15 East Broadway and welcome you with warm Japanese customer service, which is derived from a concept of “WA (和) LIFESTYLE”.

This is the essential concept for us - which is why it is reflected within our logo.

It's a Japanese kanji of WA (和).

WA (和) describes feelings of harmony, peace, and softness.

We aspire to create an environment where customers can feel at peace and in harmony through our traditional Japanese lifestyle items and our warm customer service.
